Our History

Lifecycle began 15 years ago as Recycle Cycles. Recycle was a radical departure from the conventional bike shop of the time, being driven by a wholehearted passion to deliver fine bicycles in any form, from exquisite hand-built Reynolds 531 tourers to renovated old Bullocks rescued from the backyards of second hand shops. With the advent of mountain bikes, Recycle evolved into Adelaide’s first specialist MTB shop, fielding SA’s first shop based MTB racing team and taking the leading role in touring and commuting as well as off-road cycling.

We have grown enormously over the years, and in May 1996 we moved to our current larger premises, changing our name to better suit the character of our business.

Today Lifecycle provides a complete service to cyclists of all kinds, from kids to recreational riders to racing pros. And our commitment to deliver quality at all levels remains.
